A committee comprised of educators and environmental professionals will select the winner. One scholarship will be awarded per year. The winner will receive a one-time scholarship in the amount of $1,000, to be made out to the college/university, trade or business school of the winner's choice. If a school has not been chosen, the scholarship will be held in escrow until the winner's acceptance to a college/university, trade or business school.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful reserves the right to withhold or withdraw the scholarship in the full amount if the winner does not attend college within one year after graduation.

The scholarship is named for Sue Wiseman (above, right), whose commitment and dedication to a cleaner environment led to the founding of PA CleanWays, which is now Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
